Baby quilt for my niece's baby-August

So much going on.....three quilts for Andrews friends, one for my niece's baby, one for her brothers baby, and the other sibling is getting married in August....My brother has a one two punch this year! And Betty's son graduated and will be going to Valpo, Christian college here in Indiana. Big party at her house. Started a new med that is really helping with the Fibro. QFK quilt front

Here are some of the things I have been working on.

The quilt is a Downy Quilts for Kids. They send you a precut kit free and you supply the batting and thread. The backing they sent makes the quilt reversible. The finished quilts go to critically ill children in hospitals around the U.S.

The second quilt was a Mystery Quilt I got online. A friend named it Sherbet surprise.

Fiber Arts Retreat

in

This past weekend, I attended a Fiber Art Retreat at a Christian camp about an hour and a half from me.  The setting was beautiful, a very nice camp with dorms and A-frame cabins.  I stayed in a cabin with 5 other women who are from a spinning and weaving group near me.  I quilt with one of them, so that's how I was included in their group.  I had a great time and was exposed to a lot of fiber art that I would never have seen on my own.
