Well this is our eighth grandchild. Little Gabriel looks like a true Braun! LOL.....Tristan and Sevanna with Santa. She loves the dress I made her for Santa. I need to get the rest done for her now. I just love being a grandma! It's fun isn't Cheryl!! LOL......ya just want to squeeze them so much.......

 Lola's kittens  have all gone to there new homes now. I think Lola did such a great job for eight weeks. I don' t think she was sorry to see them go they would not leave her alone. Three went to family and two went to friends so i will still get to see them all the time. She has  now been desexed and has decided she does not want to go out of the house at all and spends her days either on my bed or laying by the glass door looking out. I wish everyone a happy  and safe christmas and new year.

I have just gotten around to posting about Mike's and Wendi's shower that we had last weekend.

The quilt is a king size that only needs the binding. Had to have someone do the long arm quilting because of the size. It was done 2 days before the shower, cutting it a little close.

It was a great evening with family. We had a family shower and had the guys join in on some of the shower games. It was fun and great pulled pork that Mike smoked a couple months ago.

Yesterday a sad message reached me. My mentor from secondary school died. Tuesday is the funeral. He was a admirable person.

Here is my first grandchild...Ms. Lyla Ann!

Born today December 5th, at 7:06 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs, 10 oz and was 20 inches long!!

As any Grandmother would say "SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL"!!

Here is my son holding her for the very first time!!  And Grandpa Mike very unsure of holding his first granddaughter so tiny!!!

Thanks for everyones well wishes!!

Our First Official Family Picture as Grammy and Grampy

I'm still on my Grammy high, as you can tell!!  This picture was Christmas day at my sister in laws house, and the kids were able to stop by for a quick visit before heading off to another celebration at Gretchens family!  We get to spoil them all rotten Sunday, all to ourselves!!  I truely miss having my oldest son and his wife and daughter here, but will be heading back down to Naples mid January, (thanks to Santa) to spend a few days with them!  The kids camera wouldn't work Christmas morning, so no pics from them!!  :(  But I did hook up my webcam finally,

The Holidays

What is going on, besides having grand kids and a wedding?

Is your trees up and the shopping done?

I am hoping to have all my shopping done today, if not then for sure tomorrow. Our grandson is my problem with shopping, I brought him clothes a couple of months ago, well he has outgrown them. So I have to return what I got and get the right size. He is already 20 lbs at  10 months. His sister is 26 lbs at almost 3 years old in Feb. He is a big boy, so I have to get 12 - 18 month size, and return the 9 month size. Oh, well.

Most of the wrapping is done.

Our newest granddaughter!

Ms Lia arrived this morning via c-section to our world!  She weighed in at 8lbs, 3 oz and 21 inches long!  Lia and Mom are doing great!!   And so is Daddy!!  I'm having trouble posting the pics tonight, so I'll try add them later!!  Grandparenthood is the Greatest Gift from God!!

Mike and I are in Naples Florida, awaiting official grandparent status!!  The kids called us Wednesday after their doctor appointment to tell us they are inducing labor Friday night, so we hopped in the car and drove for 22 hours and here we are!!  YEAH!!!!  Tomorrow (Saturday) Ms. Lyla should arrive and join our family!!!  Will keep you all updated and post a picture as soon as possible!!!  ~~Hugs from Indiana - via Naples Florida~~
