I have been busy getting projects done. Being sick with this cold, has made me stay home, so time to sew between using tissues. I have finished handquilting the star wall hanging that is the free project.
Finished a Halloween tablerunner, will need to post.
2 other table runners that will go to my brother in laws for Christmas, will machine quilt today.
Cleaned up my sewing room.
Found 2 small projects that I forgot about, maybe I can finish those today to.
We went for a bike ride on the canal it was starting to get dark. I can still ride my bike without hurting my bike, it was nice to get out on our bikes, even with it being 48 degrees. It was so pretty, I wanted you to see it.
I am trying to find some paper pieced turtle patterns. The girl from Indiana.....whom I adore......loves turtles. I am having trouble finding some links to some free patterns. I have one from Paper Panache. I think I should make this girl a quilt. PLUS she has asked me to teach her to quilt! I am hoping to have a Turtle quilt under the tree for her this Christmas. Won't be two turtle doves....but it could still be turtles!

Yay! We have a bathroom with walls and a ceiling! Jerry finished the drywall in the guest bathroom yesterday. Today I'm going to start taping and mudding the drywall. My back is in bad shape from scraping the rubber carpet backing from the bedroom floor and pulling staples from the stairs so we'll see how much I get done. Right now, I'm sitting on a heating pad, taking pills, and hoping to feel better by lunchtime. Today, Jerry starts the drywall on the master bathroom.
I'm sorry I didn't come much on the site, but we were married 25 years at june 30 and now we prepare a big party on October 30. I'm Okay and Nina is Okay too. She can point to numbers and know all numbers from 1 to 10. She also know some types of the alphabet. I'm also busy with the third block of the quilt. I hope I have more time soon.
