I did not worry about the seams to much. I matched the points up with a pin. The I stitched the seem. It all came out ....hard to type it to explain it.....when you open and press it lines up.
Thanks for the pic and the information it will help me immensely. I love this site
That's how I do it except I point the pin down so I can sew right up to the point before I remove it. Wish I'd figured this out with the blue exchange (grin). Every so often the seam moves a little but ripping out the point section about an inch or so from each side and then realigning the pin has been doing the trick for me.
This is the same way I do it. I always pin right at where the point meets and then other other side where I want it to meet. Then when I sew I can see where the pin went in and can sew right next to it. I always pin on the seam lines. This is prefect. Great job.
Also I press all my seems open as when you are doing a garment.....It works and the back looks great!!!! Good Point....LOL Get it?.......Happy quilting...Boop
Betty, I tried that today and it does work. Can't wait to sighn up for my classes on Monday.....to tired to do it today.....zzzzzzzzz
blue blocks,, did everyone else get 3 of their own blocks back or was i just special???? i received one of everyone's in the first exchange and only 5 other persons in this one, if i knew i only had to send 5 i could have saved myself some postage. please advise on the green so i can save myself the trouble of sending in the last three. also i see that other people did theirs backwards also, compared to the picture that was posted with the instructions so i don't feel too stupid that way.
No your fine, everyone had some come back. I sent the extras back because not everyone participated. It has been sort of a crazy month for the blocks........and that I also had to make a decision that I hated to make. It was tough but I did it and that lead to having and extra block that you did coming back to you. But this way, we still should have the right amount of blocks for our quilts.

HAS EVERYONE GOTTEN THIER BLUE BLOCKS??
