This is the top half of a Baltimore album I have been working on for 18 months. It has taken forever because this is for my friend so I did it in her colors and it was very hard for me to enjoy looking at all that country blue and butter yellow - I do like it now but it was a big project considering I was a fairly new quilter when I started it. Since none of you will see it up close you can be happy to know that the quality of my stitching did improve over the years. LOL It is my hope to have it done to give at Christmas.
I like this,
The color's reminds me of one of My Moms Early Quilts. The blocks are very nice, and I recognize some of the patterns, however yours have a unique (and good) twist!

You do really nice work and I just love the quilt. I like the colors too. Just beautiful!
Gret quilt, I think you did a beautiful job on it!! Your friend is very lucky!!
All the hand work you did on this. There are hours and hours here. Applique has never been something that I have been able to do. My pieces never come out right.
It is really pretty. Where are you going to put it to show it off?
Good job.
I understand what you mean about the colors that would have been difficult for me to work with those colors as well, but the finished blocks are simply FANTASTIC! It just goes to show that you never truly know when you pick your colors how they will interact and what the finished product will look like. I love using EQ6 for just that reason. GREAT WORK, you should be very proud!
