Comforts of Home - 2nd block swap - closed

 We need to know how many will be participating in the second block swap.   The block is the Comforts of Home block found here:   www.scrapquilts.com/0202_bom.html  The color scheme is blue (for the large triangles that make the square) and scrappy for the 9-patch and the corner squares.   The background will be white on white.    The size is 12.5 x 12.5 unfinished.   Mail to me by March 31st and I will mail them out.  Include a self addressed envelope with postage for returning your blocks.  The cut off date is March 1st, so if you're going to participate, let me know before then. Send Pam a private message for her address to mail the blocks to.  

Because Pam has family issues, Memaw has volunteered to take over this exchange, The cut off date has changed to a later date, please read the additional posts.

I couldn't stand to let these babies sit any longer. I played with them for a couple of weeks trying to come up with a combination of all three exchanges that I liked. No luck. No matter what I did, I was unhappy with the patterns created. The stars looked great with the blue blocks. The blue blocks looked great with the white blocks. But the stars with the white blocks just didn't look right to me. Finally the light bulb lit and I decided to make several smaller quilts out of the blocks. I decided to separate the blocks from the stars and I'm a happy camper now.

I am so glad I live close to Nora, because I GOT MY BLUE BLOCKS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Ladies, they are beautiful, and thank you so much for everything that you've put into them!!!!  Nora, I noticed that I SHORTED YOU POSTAGE on my envelope......dang....I'm so sorry, I'm gonna have to yell at the postage lady in my office!!!  And I will forward you the $.34 !!!  mmmmm  maybe not....it's going to cost me more to send it to you than that, so how bout I give it to you in Shipshy when we meet???

FINALLY........YOU DON'T HAVE TO CHASE ME DOWN ANYMORE....

Okay Girls.....Going out in the mail tomorrow, so Nora should have them Thursday, or Friday at the latest :)  Glad this one is done...I'm not sure why this is so tough!!!!  Thanks for everyones patience while waiting on me!!  You girls are THE BEST!

OK........tomorrow I will start double checking and getting those little blocks into their envelopes. AND.........mailing them out to you all! I know everyone is excited to get theirs! LOL....but then I COULD keep them all and have one great quilt!!!!

ALRIGHT!!!! I'll mail them out, better than Cheryl coming after me! LOL
