This invitation only group is made up of "All Our Quilt" members that met the qualifications that have been set up for this project. There will be a discussion about the quilt so you will be a success in completing this project. There are 2 levels of lessons to this quilt. Beginner, with basic sewing skills. Advanced for quilters that have made several quilts in the past and know the basic techniques of quilting. The advance will learn to fussy cut the center star to have a Kaleidoscope effect, so you will be learning to fussy cut with templates. The 2 inner borders are also fussy cut with mitered corners. The outer border is fussy cut with the corners being paper-pieced with the freezer paper method. Everyone will decide how much or little they would like to do on this quilt. This group is to discuss how to do things after you receive each lesson. You will learn how I did this quilt and also have the benefit of the great knowledge of each one of our members. This quilt group will be like you are at your local quilt shop taking a class, but you will be doing it in your own home. Enjoy this group and let's begin to learn.
