Finally, things are settling down a bit, and I'm thinking may get back to normal soon! It seems like ages that I've had a chance to do any quiltling, and there is quite a bit for me to get moving on! I think that for the last few months I have put everything on hold, so now it's time to think about me for a bit!! Here is an updated picture of the girls! I flew down to Naples last week for Lyla's baptism and spent a few days before hand spoiling her rotten! I miss her already!! It's amazing how fast you fall in love with these little ones!! This week I took an extended lunch hour and went to visit Lia to spoil her a while!!
What's everyone else working on??? It seems to have gotten so quite for a while, and I think that facebook is to blame for part of it!! How are the newlyweds???? Pam, how's the house coming??? I keep thinking it would be cool to take a trip up there this spring and help you out for a day or two!!! Judy, get in to that Doctor and make sure all is okay!! I worry about you girl!!! And Memaw....you can't move, can you???? We've only had one little quilting excursion, and we need to do more!! Betty are you okay out there?? haven't seen hide nor hair of you, as well as a few others....

Well, it may not happen to be moving. Jim named his pay......and no answer. And that is ok. We keep looking. He did hear from a company close to town last evening. The guy was impressed and said he would keep his info close at hand and call when they were hiring. That's good! LOL. But I am going to start cleaning things out. To much stuff. Tired of dusting. And want to start sewing again. So if I don't get off here.....I will never get things done.....Glad to have ya back Cheryl....and Judy......keep off that leg! As for Mr & Mrs Mike..............this is ONE LOOOOONG honeymoon! LOL......aaahh to be young again....
Glad to hear that the grandkids are well. They are true joy.
I have also been running around. Hubby is retiring and I had no idea how much had to be changed. Finding new life insurance, rolling over retirement money, and the big one health insurance. Hopefully things for me will also settle down. I have a lot to get up to date here. Miss ya all.
I just love seeing the pictures of all the new grandbabies! So adorable! I haven't been on here much lately. But I miss everyone. The house is coming along slowly... much more slowly than I would like. But we finished the new half bath and I just love it. We also finished Jerry's office, including the hardwood floor and crown molding. It's just beautiful and it makes me really anxious to get the living room done. It seems like we've had a lot of other activities going on and our weekend working time has been more scarce. I'm hoping that Jerry will get some drywalling done this weekend. I've been sewing again after several months of a dry spell and have joined a new quilting group. Nothing much else going on. I'm excited about a quilt I'm working on... a UFO that I started a couple of years ago. It's a medallion quilt with an appliqued center with rows of star blocks and borders and then a large appliqued border on the outside. I'll take pictures soon. What's everyone else working on???
