I think I may have a few more kaleidoscope & needle star blocks done, I'll look and then take those pictures. As you can see from the blocks that I have in my profile, that I have made several blocks. Now, how to get them in one quilt top? I don't want to put them in rolls with slashing. I will like to come up with something that also has symmetry or kaleidoscropes in them. When I get my cast off my foot this is the first project I would like to complete. Does anyone have any ideas? I do have to get a picture of one more kaleidoscopes, that I have done. I would like any ideas. What I am thinking is to have the large kaleidoscopes in the center with the needles stars & smaller kaleidocopes around them. Making look like they are floating, with a great border of some kind. Any ideas?
Wow, those are really well done! I've never tried to do a kaleidoscope-type quilt, so I actually don't have any great suggestions--just wanted to applaud the work. Maybe with the kaleidoscope shapes, it's okay to go with asymmetry, or have them moving in some kind of spiral according to size--? The large one with the blue on the outer edge has such pretty colors!
One of these days, I'm going to get them all out and really start working on getting these put together in a quilt. They have been here for a year, I need to get to it.
