Here is my first grandchild...Ms. Lyla Ann!

Born today December 5th, at 7:06 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs, 10 oz and was 20 inches long!!

As any Grandmother would say "SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL"!!

Here is my son holding her for the very first time!!  And Grandpa Mike very unsure of holding his first granddaughter so tiny!!!

I will never ever get over the miracles that  God gives us! Cheryl, she is priceless.......Before ya know it she will be saying memaw! LOL.......Blake calls me nana....gives me BIG wet kisses and a hug around the neck.........I would never trade this for the world......CONGRATS! ! !

definetly her Daddy's girl

Thanks for all the congrats!!  It is totally awesome!  And this little baby girl, is so aware of everything!  She already follows her Daddys voice (he has been talking to her since they found out they were pregnant) the nurses said that she was under the warmer last night right after birth, and started crying, and Shawn walked over and started talking to her, and she stopped crying and just stared at him!!  She was holding her head up today when I had her on my shoulder, she's unbelievable!!!

Congratulations, Grandma!! What a beautiful girl! I've seen the pictures on your blog and they are so cute. I still have to wait for 2 1/2 months and I hope I'll be grandma too.

I am so happy for your family...Babies are wonderful gifts...soak up every precious moment for they grow up so very fast. You will enjoy your roll of grandmama...You are so young to be a grandma!?
