I really what you did with all the different kitty fabrics. Very cute!!
I love the bag.....it's neat!
It's adorable...what a great job you did!!!!
It is good to see you!!! And I missed you too...What a very nice thing that you did for your friend by making this cute little bag. I bet she loves you for it and I love the bag....Happy quilting...Boop
I really like how it turned out & that 2 cats on it look just like my friend's 2 former cats. It's quite large - probably 12x16x4 for the bag part. One pocket inside is divided in half to fit a glass case and cell phone in each pocket & then a big pocket on the other interior side fits a book or wallet. The outer pocket might be easiest for keys &/or mail or stuff for ready access. It was a nice design that I finished in about 5 hours.
that bag is awesome! I get anxious about doing such elaborate bags. You did a great job, I am guessing you will always get "where did you buy that bag" whenever you use it.
Very nice is this the first one you have done?? I have a pattern I want to do one day I have never made one but its on my want to list. Great Job!!!
I like to bag, so cute to be carrying around. Several quilters on the retreat were making new bags, they all came out great. Several had trouble with the patterns, some had errors and others the pattern was not clear. Did you have any trouble with this pattern? They were happy to have other quilters around to help them figure it out. I will have to make one, some day.
I took a class & really relied on the instructor to interpret the instructions. I'm so much more a 'right-side of the brain' person than left! Directions were counter-intuitive to how I'd have put it together without help. Meaning I'd have done it wrong 5-6 times on my own! Just before doing this, I made a cell phone bag & even that I got wrong about 3 different ways before doing it right. I think it's an exercise in patience and refusing to be frustrated! Classes help me SO much.
However, I am getting much better with following instructions on quilts - at least they're flat & go in a certain direction ; ) to stand a chance on getting it right.
Nice job, love the fabrics you chose to put together
