My Row by Row is back! This is the one I started, therefore it comes back to me as mine at the end of the Row by Row. I did the top row and the rest of the rows were done by other people who participated in the Row by Row. A different person did each row. They were allowed to do anything they wanted as long as it fell under the assigned category for that month. (example : flower, basket, applique) I put fabric in with my finished row. It appears that they used the fabric I included. I didn't require that they do so. Didn't they do a nice job!
This row by row group did a great job, you seem very pleased by it. Where are you going to put it? Are you going to finish it, batting and quilting?
We haven't heard from you in awhile, glad you haven't forgotten us. You have been missed.

I am very happy with it! My friend says it is so "not me!" I guess she doesn't know how eclectic I really am!! I wanted them to feel free to do anything, so my first row was very free form. I picked a fabric that I thought would be fun for them. Many left me notes saying how much they enjoyed the fabric. You probably can't see it, but the bottom row has my granddaughters names embroibered on it. That was an extra special touch!! That month the assignment was Hearth and Home.
Let's put it this way, I will try to finish it....
First I must decide how I want to finish it. (Whether to put sashing between rows, etc.)
I have been so busy lately. Getting doctor and dentist appointments caught up and working. How come now that I am older I have so many doctor appointments. It seems like every time I go to an appointment they make two or three more for other things!!
My guild did a row quilt a couple of years ago and every one of the quilts came out beautiful just like yours. The colors of yours reminds me of early summer. Very cheerful.

How lovely! I keep learning so much from all of you! A Row by Row! I had never heard of that (probably because I've never belonged to a guild, or anything! ) I tried to join one here in our county, but they never contacted me) I think it is awesome the way that all of you are able to share so much with others! Thank You!! How long did it take to get it back?

It has been out of my hands since the beginning of February. It doesn't seem all that long ago. Too bad the guild you tried to join didn't contact you Cheryl. You should try again. They are fun!
It sounds like it! I would really like to find a group, so that I could learn from them, and to correct all my "bad" habits, and I'm sure I have alot of them!! I look at all the beautiful work you all do, and am in awe, and hope that someday I can quilt half as well as you all do! I love the creativity and love that you all put in to them!
What bad habits Cheryl? I certainly haven't seen any on your quilts on here! They are lovely.
However, we do get ideas from each other, and seeing what others have finished is a great motivator! It makes you want to do more and more!!

Boy do I know about Dr appointments! LOL.......welcome back. I really like your quilt and can't wait to see it finished. I started another quilt, between Christmas and mittens, I have yet to pick it back up. But I have a long time before I have to have it finished. But it may be a long winter.......I see that your kittie approves of your row by row.....
