These are very old UFOs! Pillow covers that I hand quilted a number of years ago and finished Saturday by putting backs on them made from shirt fronts. Easy to make, easy to put on and take off.... just unbutton! I have several more, but I may use some of them for tote bags instead of pillows.
This is a purse I made for my friend Wanda. I bought this upholstery fabric last week on clearance at Walmart. The second picture is the inside of the purse with pockets all around.
I call these my 'pumpkin heads'! I found one just like this at a yard sale a couple months ago. When I saw it I knew I had to have it! I was certain the woman would ask some high price for it....like $20, but when I approached her and asked her what she wanted for her pumpkin she said..."oh, how about a dollar?". Before anyone overheard her price I said YES and snatched it up. I took him home and dissected him to make the pattern. Its not in a book. It was very OLD. Here are a few of my pin cushions that I made. The Bridal dress form is made from the sleeve of my daughters wedding dress. The back has the buttons on it. It took longer to make than the little flower pot ones They were all fun to do....I just wanna keep them all. The ice cream cone is Boopers! The blue one....the pink one is mine. They only cost 55 cents for the cones......love the Good Will!
Here is Jim's latest......I really like this one! (mission). It takes less time for this than the ladders! Hard to believe.......The other is even less time but I just like that mission style...
60x24" solid oak ladder holds several quilts. Mortised rungs. But Jim refuses to make me one.........say's I have to much stuff and no place to put it! LOL....Well I guess I better sell that antique settee......
Two tote bags I finished Saturday, one smaller, one larger. Both have 3 pockets on the inside. I'm hoping to sell these on line. Any ideas on how I should price them? Never tried to sell any of my things before.
