About You:

When I retired, I moved back to my home town and started quilting with a group of church ladies. I soon became addicted. I've always loved to sew, and tend to have withdrawals if I don't get to go and "feel the fabric" at least once a month. Now I've found I can ease the pain a little by looking at fabric and quilts on the internet.

I like to read and am currently enjoying "Twilight" which I said I wouldn't read because I knew I wouldn't like it. Surprise! During the short summer in the Colorado mountains, I like working in the yard, but it isn't very neat and orderly. My flower beds look like "tangles" but I enjoy them. Digging in the dirt is very good for my mental health. In the winter I love getting in my "nest" with some kind of hand work and watching tv. Yes, I do watch tv. I like the Law and Orders, Criminal Minds, Army Wives, CSI, Without a Trace. I was hooked on Young and the Restless, but it just got too outlandish so I'm taking a break. I like to embroider and do counted cross stitch as well as all kinds of sewing. Love movies so am grateful for NetFlix.

Welcome,

I read Twilight and loved it. I read all 3 books in a matter of a couple of weeks. I have gone back to the book store and brought the adult book the Meyer has written, I forgot the name. I have not started it because then I wouldn't get anything else done. You also watch the same TV shows as myself. But, quilting is my first love and then gardening.

I look forward to getting to know you and see the quilts that you have done. Thanks for joining us.
