Wife to a terrific husband, Mom to two wonderful grown sons,  and one goofball 'senior' yellow lab.

I have been quilting for just over 14 years, and acquired my long arm Dec. of 2007. Have done other quilts for income as well, even though the plan was to 'practice' for a few years first, but some of the 'quilt friends' figured I was good enough to entrust their quilt tops to, for  paid 'practice'.

 Enjoy talking to others who share the same passion, and ' who don't get that 'deer in the headlight look' when I talk about quilting.  Am attempting  to aim my quilting to a more 'artistic genre', but have a tendancy to side track easily, ie: craft sales, retreats etc.  I do try to make one piece that has something new and different  in the way of 'techniques', from the one I did previously. Always pushing to challenge myself to learn more. Applique always seems to be the one technique I enjoy, and segway to  if I want to just do  a 'relaxation' piece though.
