Wow,

I never Invited you to be my friend?  Well I sent one out now!  Sorry for the Delay... Been so Busy working on the next version of the site that I havent been doing much Contributing.  I leave that up to the Quilters...

But today is a SPECIAL day... ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY! 

WOOHOO!  Though we dont know how old you are (and wont ask) I hope your XX Birthday is the best one ever!

Hi Laurie,

It would be great if we can get you to change your icon to a nice picture. You can do that by going into "Edit" and down on the page you will see picture. This is where you may hold whatever you like for a picture. It is nice to see something better than this little doll.  If you have any problems use "contact us" and Mike (admin) will be happy to help you.

Thank you for joining us.  I see that you have jumped right in and are taking part.

You are welcome to post any quilts in "Gallery" and enter things in your blog. I am looking forward to seeing some of the things you have made.

I call these my 'pumpkin heads'!  I found one just like this at a yard sale a couple months ago.  When I saw it I knew I had to have it!  I was certain the woman would ask some high price for it....like $20, but when I approached her and asked her what she wanted for her pumpkin she said..."oh, how about a dollar?".  Before anyone overheard her price I said YES and snatched it up.  I took him home and dissected him to make the pattern.  Its not in a book.  It was very OLD.  You could see that no one used a ruler or rotary cutter for the orig
