I am a retired C.P.A.,mother of three grown children,grandmother of four,and soon to be a great-grandmother. I love quilting;I do piece work but  my real love is machine applique. I do hand quilting and some machine quilting.I have made more than a few pink ribbon quilts. I  lost a sister to breast cancer and my oldest daughter is a survivor. Therefore, I do quilt for the cure. I served as chair person for a group that made 156 quilts for our wounded soldiers that have been med-vac'ed to Landstuhl,Germany. My daughter and both sons-in-law are Active-Duty Army and are presently in Iraq. On a normal day(what ever that means)I do about 8hrs. on my quilting. At present time I have a Block-of-the-month going and a Catheral Wndow,and A Basket full of Posies(a Christmas gift) That about sums - up "ME"
