Sharon, I can't read your private message. I guess it's to me. Use my email or on the site.

Hi Sharon,

I'm trying again to see if I can get you to put up a nice picture.

It would be great if we can get you to change your icon to a nice picture. You can do that by going into "Edit" and down on the page you will see picture. This is where you may hold whatever you like for a picture. It is nice to see something better than this little doll.  If you have any problems use "contact us" and Mike (admin) will be happy to help you.

It is great to have you aboard. Welcome

Sue

Hi Sharon,

It would be great to have a picture instead of the little doll. Can we help you set that up? You do by going into edit and you will be able to download a picture that you like. If you have any questions please contact us.

Tinkerbell

Cambria 023.jpg

My daughters step daughter in law asked me to make quilts for both her little ones. The boy is 3 and the girl is 18 months. She wanted Tinkerbell for the girl and cammy for the boy since their dad is in the Army. Yesterday morning I enlarged Tink and designed this quilt then got it quilted up.  Tomorrow I will go shopping for some cammy fabric. I think this one came out pretty awesome.

Just finished putting the last of the borders on this king size Dresden Plate. It's 116" square with the outside muslin border being 11" and going to be in a B & B in Cambria Calif. called the Pickford House. It's a 1920's B & B. Now to decide on some awesome quilting for it.

This is my latest design. I love designing baby quilts. Had to go buy new fabric because I couldn't find the light blue cloud fabric I had used. But this one is cuate too.

I have one more in my head (and it actually stayed there) that I need to get started on.

9 Patch........the beginning

This is the piecing for a Disappearing 9 Patch

1.  Cut squares your desired size (I personally prefer 3 1/2" to 4") then sew your 9 patch unit.

2. Cut in half in both horizontal and vertical.

3. Twist and turn the cut sections then sew back together.

I was telling Diane about the Tennessee Walking Horses quilt I did all in thread painting. Here is a pic with some of my favorite blocks. I used 2 varigated browns for the blocks on this one.....one going from light to dark and one going from orange to brown.
